The Archdiocesan Pastoral Council (APC) is a consultative body, constituted in accordance with the Code of Canon Law, to provide greater collaboration and unity in the pastoral programs and works of the archdiocese, its parishes and Catholic organizations.
In order to achieve the goal of being an accurate reflection of archdiocese as a whole, the APC includes representatives from the clergy, archdiocesan committees, parishes, and Catholic organizations (consecrated and lay) that minister in the archdiocese.

There is an executive committee of the APC, made up of the archbishop, three members of the Curia and/or deans, and five members of the APC. The executive committee sets the agenda for each APC meeting.
