The Faith Formation Committee (FFC) is a consultative body whose members are appointed by and, therefore, are directly accountable to the archbishop. The principal purpose of the FFC is to collaborate with and support the main catechists in the archdiocese: pastors in the parishes and staff in the Diocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis.

There is no specific composition of the FFC. The members are drawn by the archbishop from around the archdiocese. There must be at least five members, with a maximum of 15. Employees of the Diocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis are ex officio members.
The FFC meets at least once a year.
