Sister Bélanger of Girouxville passes away at 95
On Oct. 13th, Sr. Laurette Bélanger, a Sister of Providence from Girouxville who served in communities in our archdiocese and in Edmonton, went on to her eternal home at the age of 95. She served as nurse in Fairview for many years.
In her family, Sr. Laurette was one of three sisters who joined the Sisters of Providence. She also had a brother who became a priest with the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
Let us pray for her eternal repose.
