The Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan offers its condolences to Fr. Ed Eherer and family, after we sadly learned of the death of Mr. Raymond Eherer, father of Rev. Ed Eherer C.Ss.R., associate pastor at St. Joseph Parish, Grande Prairie, on Wednesday October 2nd, the day of his 91st birthday.
Mr. Eherer worked for Alberta Power (now Atco Electric) and for a number of years stationed in Falher and in Fairview. We send our condolences and assurance of prayers to Fr. Ed, to Hattie (wife) and the entire family. Raymond is predeceased by his eldest son Gerald and eldest daughter Bridget. May he rest in peace.
A vigil will be held at the Athabasca Community Chapel and is scheduled for Tuesday evening, October 8th at 6 PM, prayers will begin at 7 PM. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Gabriel Church (4907 53 Street) in Athabasca on Wednesday October 9th at 10:30 AM with interment at the Athabasca Cemetery.
