Ash Wednesday Collection will continue to raise money for healing programs
The Archdiocese’s Ash Wednesday Collection, taking place this year on Wednesday, Feb. 14th, will continue to raise money for healing and reconciliation programs in our region.
The Archdiocese has pledged to raise $165,000 as part of the Indigenous Reconciliation Fund established by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. In order to meet our pledge, the Ash Wednesday collection from 2022-2026 is allocated to this fund. An independent committee is in place to select the healing and reconciliation programs and apply for funding.
Thank you for your generosity and support as we strive to move forward together towards truth and reconciliation! Ash Wednesday donations can also be dropped in the Sunday collection basket or at your parish office (mark envelope – Ash Wednesday Collection) or can be made online.
