Rite of Election Mass celebrated in McLennan

This year’s Rite of Election Mass was celebrated on Sunday, March 9th at St. John the Baptist Cathedral in McLennan. This Mass helps us welcome catechumens and candidates across the archdiocese as they prepare to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church this Easter.

Catechumens and candidates from Grande Prairie, Peace River, High Prairie and Fairview were in attendance, alongside Archbishop Pettipas, Archbishop-designate Charles Duval, Msgr. Charles Lavoie, Fr. Joseph Choji and Dcn. Brian Flowers, who recently moved to our archdiocese. See photos from the celebration below.
