Fr. John Vizza appointed to Interdiocesan Tribunal

From the Interdiocesan Tribunal of Edmonton:

Archbishop Richard Smith is pleased to appoint Rev. Fr. John J. Vizza, M.Div., MCL, JCL, MS (Psychology) as Adjunct Judicial Vicar of the Interdiocesan Tribunal of Edmonton, effective January 17, 2025. Since November 2016, Fr. John has worked at the Interdiocesan Tribunal of Edmonton as a case instructor and Judge.

Fr. John was recently ordained a priest for the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton, serving as a priest at St. Sophia Parish in Sherwood Park, as well as a director of the Inter-Eparchial Marriage Tribunal and the Office of Safe Environments and as canonical counsel to Bishop David Motiuk. He resides in Edmonton with his wife Rebecca and six children.

The Interdiocesan Tribunal of Edmonton, with offices located in Edmonton and Calgary, serves the Archdiocese of Edmonton, Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan, Diocese of Calgary, Diocese of St. Paul and the Diocese of Mackenzie-Fort Smith (NWT) on matters related to declarations of nullity.
